TapIn runs a pre-trip safety scan as soon as you enter your destination. We use GPS to enter your location and AI tools to evaluate the following:
- Time of day and area crime patterns.
- Zone risk levels on your route.
- Weather and traffic conditions.
- Any prior rider-reported incidents with that driver.
If we see a past incident or serious concern, Trip Score drops to zero and TapIn recommends requesting another car - before the ride even starts.
